The FA have confirmed to us as a Club, that all football for this weekend (Sept 10-11) has been postponed to a later date following the passing of Queen Elizabeth II.

Whilst there will be many people who may agree or disagree with the decision, I personally believe it is the correct decision to ensure a blanket postponement was put into force, rather than some Leagues play fixtures and some do not.

Below are the fixtures that have been postponed:

Lakenheath F.C. v Soham Town Rangers - 10 Sept 15.00

St Ives Town Reserves v Lakenheath F.C. Reserves - 10 Sept 15.00

Lakenheath F.C. U16 v Thetford Town U16 - 11 Sept 10.30

We will of course keep all supporters and followers updated on any future fixtures that may be postponed, with speculation regarding around the period of the state funeral being of particular highlight on social media.
